Now I’ll admit, of all the artists out now, Summer Walker was probably one of the last singers I’d expect to put out a Christmas song but sis surprisingly came through in another unexpected 2020 curveball.
Summer, who has given us toxic relationship anthem after toxic relationship anthem, is now singing about another man who loves to give gifts–Santa Claus.
Summer wowed fans Monday when she dropped a song and visual for “Santa Baby.” She put her own lil’ spicy twist on the Christmas classic, originally performed by the iconic Eartha Kitt.
In the music video, Summer lounged around in a few sexy outfits with a Santa hat atop her head.

Some fans were shook by the lyrics, specifically the “duplex and checks,” which many pointed out were actually the original. So in other words, Eartha might have been the original city girl.
But others who caught the visual pointed out that Summer looked to be sporting a baby bump amid pregnancy rumors.
The video certainly didn’t help squash the rumors, which started brewing during the earlier part of the month when Summer linked up with Erykah Badu.

“Welp, my life is complete now lol I feel like all the hard work I put in has officially paid off,” Summer said of the meetup. “What an experience.”
Some speculated Summer met up with Erykah because she is a known doula who has helped delivered celebrity babies, most recently Teyana Taylor’s and Iman Shumpert’s second daughter, Rue Rose.
A video posted by Erykah’s daughter, Puma, showed Summer prancing around with what looked like a noticeable pudge in her stomach area, but Summer has previously attributed her stomach’s appearance to bloat.
Only time will tell if Summer will pull a Kylie Jenner/Iggy Azalea on us and pop out in a few months with a whole baby, or if she just keeps eating Chipotle but until then, we can rock to her Christmas music.
