Roommates, social media is the current place where celebrities can voice their opinions on a variety of things—and if you’re Mary Mary member Erica Campbell, that also includes how to get a husband. Erica recently took to Instagram to offer a message to women who want to be married and it including not sowing “h** seeds.”
While promoting her new podcast, Grammy-winning gospel artist Erica Campbell posted an interesting relationship theory that definitely had social media in a bit of an uproar. In an effort to guide women who want to be married in the right direction, Erica posted the following message that read:
“You can’t sow h** seeds and reap marriage benefits. Your brain and body don’t switch like that. You gotta prepare your mind for marriage because it’s a ministry.”
She followed that up with a caption that stated, “You will crave what you have put in practice. Can’t wait for y’all to hear my podcast. Ooohhh we gon talk!!! #marriage #monogamy #marriageminded #prepareyourself”
As soon as Erica’s post went live, social media users were immediately split on agreeing and disagreeing with her. Some co-signed her theory largely due to her being married to husband/producer Warryn Campbell for over 20 years. While others believed her message to be overly judgmental of those who choose a different method of engaging in marriage.
