Lou’s
drinking
creates
a
problem
for
the
whole
family
when
Shantel
goes
looking
for
justice.
Kanan
assimilates
into
Ronnie’s
crew,
and
Raq
formulates
a
new
plan
for
Unique’s
former
heroin
operation.
This
week’s
episode
started
with
Paul
getting
a
very
unpleasant
surprise
in
the
form
of
Ronnie
and
some
of
his
goons.
While
he
was
watching
TV,
they
busted
into
his
house
and
roughed
him
up
a
bit
before
taking
him
to
Kanan.
Kanan
explained
to
Paul
that
he
and
Ronnie
didn’t
like
the
stuff
he
was
talking
about
going
to
the
police.
While
this
is
happening,
Famous
unknowingly
walks
in.
As
soon
as
he
peeps
the
scene,
he
offers
to
leave
and
come
back
and
get
his
stuff
another
day.
Ronnie
tells
him
that
he
can
stay.
Before
they
leave,
Ronnie
makes
sure
that
Paul
(who
had
pissed
himself
out
of
fear
at
this
point)
understands
that
saying
he
was
going
to
go
to
the
cops
was
even
worse
than
doing
it.
After
Paul
clearly
got
the
message,
Ronnie
and
Kanan
walked
him
to
his
apartment.
Kanan
told
Famous
to
get
his
stuff
and
be
gone
by
the
time
he
got
back.
Elsewhere,
Raq
made
her
way
to
discuss
business
with
Quân.
She
wanted
to
keep
the
same
deal
with
him
that
Unique
had.
Quân
told
her
about
Unique’s
plan
to
expand
and
how
he
had
trouble
doing
it,
especially
with
the
transportation
aspect.
He
didn’t
think
the
spot
Unique
had
was
worth
all
the
trouble.
Raq
was
able
to
convince
him
to
work
with
her
on
pretty
much
a
2
month
probational
period.
Back
at
the
spot,
Fanous
quickly
packed
his
stuff
in
his
bag,
including
his
gun.
As
he
was
trying
to
speed
out,
Kanan
and
Ronnie
were
coming
back
in.
Ronnie
started
to
grill
Famous
with
a
whole
bunch
of
questions
while
Kanan
sat
by
and
watched.
Ronnie
went
on
to
share
how
Kanan
told
him
that
Famous
likes
to
talk.
Famous
denied
the
allegations
and
told
Ronnie
he
didn’t
have
anything
to
worry
about.
Ronnie
took
offense
and
got
very
close
as
if
he
was
going
to
harm
Famous.
Kanan
had
to
step
in
and
tell
Ronnie
that
Famous
keeps
things
close
for
the
most
part
and
if
he
didn’t,
he’s
handle
him
himself.
Another
person
who
was
trying
to
step
into
a
situation
was
Howard.
Tanner
again
brought
him
in
to
question
him
about
Marvin
but
refused
to
tell
Howard
exactly
what
the
task
force
was
looking
for.
Howard
played
it
cool
and
gave
him
some
generic
information
about
Marvin
being
hungry
and
not
taking
sh-t
from
anyone.
He
did
admit
that
it
wasn’t
out
of
the
realm
of
possibilities
that
Marvin
could
have
ran
into
the
Italians
and
started
working
together.
Before
they
could
finish
their
conversation,
Howard
notices
Detective
Peng
escorting
Shantel
(Scrappy’s
mom)
to
the
interrogation
room.
He
convinced
Tanner
that
he
should
ask
Peng
about
the
streets
because
he
knows
everything
about
them
(the
streets).
Howard
switches
spots
with
Peng
and
begans
to
question
Shantel.
While
Howard
pretended
he
was
trying
to
help,
Marvin
was
actually
doing
that.
He
pulled
up
on
Gerald,
only
to
find
that
he
had
left
his
two
daughters
in
the
car
outside
in
the
cold
for
who
knows
how
long.
As
soon
as
Gerald
opens
the
door,
Marvin
can
tell
that
he’s
been
shooting
ho
drugs.
Back
at
the
police
station,
Shantel
shocks
the
hell
out
of
Howard
when
she
tells
him
that
Lou
was
the
one
who
told
her
the
information
about
Scrap’s
death.
As
Howard
tries
to
understand
the
situation
a
bit
more,
he
continues
to
question
her
until
she
tells
him
that
Lou
might’ve
had
a
drink
prior
to
coming
to
her
house.
Howard
then
emphasized
drunk
statements
about
commissions
of
crimes
don’t
go
too
far.
Before
they
departed
from
each
other,
he
also
warned
Shantel
to
not
tell
anyone
else
about
what
she
heard
because
that’s
when
bad
things
usually
happen.
Marvin
realized
something
bad
could
happen
if
Gerald
continued
doing
what
he
was
doing
so
he
told
him
about
hisself.
One
person
who
has
learned
a
lot
about
themself
over
the
past
couple
of
seasons
is
Famous.
He
realized
that
home
is
where
he
needed
to
be
as
we
seen
him
return
to
his
mother’s
home.
He
took
the
gun
out
of
his
bag
and
put
it
in
a
shoe
box
in
his
closet.
He
and
his
mother
share
a
very
emotional
conversation
where
they
both
apologize
for
what
they
had
previously
had
done.
It’s
obvious
that
things
are
still
weighing
heavy
on
Famous
but
he
and
his
mother
are
both
happy
he’s
home.
In
other
happy
news,
N’Kiyah
was
able
to
secure
Butta
a
gig
opening
up
for
a
bigger
artist.
Howard
went
to
Raq
with
the
information
Shantel
opened
up
to
him
about.
A
pissed
off
Raq
tells
him
that
she’ll
handle
Lou.
She
then
shifts
her
focus
to
the
Task
Force
and
what
they’re
looking
into.
For
some
reason
(maybe
because
he
feels
like
Raq
always
messes
things
up),
Howard
doesn’t
bring
up
the
fact
that
they’re
looking
into
Marvin.
Speaking
of
forms
of
transportation,
Raq
got
right
to
work.
She
began
scoping
out
as
many
of
the
Chinese
restaurants
as
she
could.
She
paid
super
close
attention
to
how
things
were
being
unpacked
and
delivered.
Marvin
pulled
up
on
a
drunk
Lou
at
the
studio
and
delivered
a
message.
He
told
his
younger
brother
that
if
he
wanted
to
kill
himself,
that
was
fine
but
he
wouldn’t
allow
him
to
take
everybody
else
down
with
him.
Lou
was
so
drunk
that
he
didn’t
even
know
what
Marvin
was
referring
to.
Marvin
literally
had
to
tell
Lou
what
he
did.
He
continued
by
letting
him
know
that
Shantel
went
to
the
police
station
and
dropped
his
name
and
the
only
reason
he
wasn’t
arrested
was
because
Howard
was
holding
them
down.
Apparently
Ronnie
has
been
holding
down
Unique
and
Pernessa’s
house
as
of
late.
Pernessa
walked
in
on
him…and
Juliana
awkwardly
kissing
(well
at
least
Juliana
was
kissing
him).
Although
she
was
only
coming
to
get
some
stuff
for
her
son,
Pernessa
did
ask
what
Juliana
was
doing
there.
Ronnie
told
her
to
get
her
stuff
and
go.
As
Pernessa
is
grabbing
her
stuff,
Juliana
warns
Ronnie
that
it’s
not
good
for
people
to
see
them
together.
Ronnie
brushes
it
off
and
says
that
Pernessa
isn’t
anything
they
should
worry
about.
Juliana
responds
by
telling
him
that
enemies
are
dangerous,
especially
when
they’re
families.
This
is
a
bit
ironic
because
she
is
actually
working
with
Ronnie
behind
her
cousin’s
back.
Detective
Howard
is
used
to
doing
things
behind
people’s
backs.
He
came
face
to
face
with
Captain
Burke
for
the
first
time
since
the
funeral.
Burke
voiced
his
regrets
for
how
everything
went
down
with
him
and
his
daughter
before
she
passed.
Staying
in
character,
Howard
again
lets
Burke
know
that
if
he
needs
anything,
he
can
come
to
him.
When
Raq
needs
something,
she
doesn’t
wait
to
get
it.
After
scouting
the
restaurant
locations
a
night,
the
next
morning,
Raq
made
her
way
to
the
company
that
supplies
the
restaurants
with
equipment,
cookware,
tableware,
janitorial
supplies
and
other
things.
The
owner
didn’t
give
Raq
the
time
of
day,
stating
that
he
and
his
brother
(who
he
owns
the
company
with)
only
supply
Chinese
restaurants.
That
wasn’t
good
news
for
Raq
but
at
least
someone
else
got
some.
Detective
Howard
was
informed
by
Captain
Baptiste
that
he
basically
was
a
shoe-in
for
the
Queens
Narcotics
gig,
pending
an
enhanced
background
check.
Captain
Baptiste
and
the
other
cop
in
the
room
joked
that
as
long
as
Howard
wasn’t
a
serial
killer,
he’d
be
fine.
That’s
surely
going
to
have
to
be
an
elephant
that
gets
addressed.
Juke
couldn’t
let
what
Kanan
did
to
Iesha
go
without
it
also
being
addressed.
She
made
her
way
to
Kanan’s
apartment
(which
was
being
guarded
by
two
of
Ronnie’s
men)
and
confronted
her
cousin.
She
let
him
know
that
Iesha
told
her
about
the
movies.
As
she
pushed
Kanan,
Juke
reminded
her
younger
cousin
that
she
told
him
to
be
good
to
Iesha
so
he
wouldn’t
mess
up
the
music
thing
she
had
going.
After
Kanan
downplays
what
she
said
and
told
her
he
had
stuff
to
do,
she
hit
him
with
some
cold
hard
facts.
Juke
told
Kanan
that
the
stuff
he
was
doing
with
Ronnie
didn’t
make
him
grown.
She
continued
by
saying
that
he
was
still
just
a
scared
little
boy
trying
to
show
his
mother
that
he’s
a
man.
Ironically
enough,
Ronnie
was
sitting
there
listening
to
the
whole
conversation,
eating
a
bowl
of
cereal.
Once
Juke
left,
Ronnie
told
Kanan
he
could
talk
to
her.
Kanan
wasn’t
having
it
at
all
and
told
Ronnie
that
he
would
never
talk
to
Juke.
He
then
emphasized
that
his
family
doesn’t
have
anything
to
do
with
the
two
of
them.
Still
feeling
a
bit
guilty,
sad,
confused
and
a
lot
of
other
emotions,
Captain
Burke
met
with
Adina
at
a
park.
The
intended
reason
of
them
meeting
was
so
that
he
could
give
her
an
old
picture
of
her
and
Shannon
(Burke)
that
he
found
when
he
picked
her
stuff
up
from
the
precinct.
Captain
Burke
apologized
for
how
he
acted
towards
the
both
of
them
and
then
asked
Adina
if
she
knew
why
she
might’ve
killed
herself.
Adina
responds
that
it
could
have
been
a
lot
of
things
(herself,
Captain
Burke,
the
job).
When
Captain
Burke
brought
up
how
obsessed
Shannon
was
with
Howard
and
him
potentially
hiding
things,
Adina
quickly
let
him
know
that
she
had
already
told
his
daughter
that
she
wouldn’t
go
anywhere
near
Howard.
If
there’s
one
person
that
Pernessa
wishes
wouldn’t
come
anywhere
near
her,
it’s
Ronnie.
Unfortunately,
that’s
exactly
what
he
did.
As
she
was
grabbing
groceries
from
the
car
about
to
head
into
her
mother’s
house,
Ronnie
appeared
out
of
nowhere,
obviously
scaring
Pernessa.
Ronnie
warned
P
that
whoever
killed
Unique
is
still
out
there.
He
went
on
to
let
her
know
that
she
has
to
be
careful
and
that
he
doesn’t
want
anything
to
happen
to
her
since
she’s
all
that
Jerome
has
left.
Back
at
Cafe
Vous,
Mama
Joyce
visited.
Of
course,
it
wasn’t
for
anything
but
to
ask
for
some
money
and
to
criticize
Lou’s
current
situation.
Before
she
departed,
Joyce
mentioned
how
Lou’s
father
spent
way
too
much
time
in
joints
like
Cafe
Vous
and
how
it
impacted
him.
Lou
responded
by
saying
it
wasn’t
the
spots
that
did
it
to
him,
pretty
much
again
referencing
that
it
was
her
who
drove
their
father
(her
husband)
away.
The
interaction
clearly
got
to
Lou
and
a
concerned
Shirley
could
easily
tell.
In
her
own
right,
Juke
was
obviously
concerned
about
Kanan.
She
did
the
only
thing
she
thought
she
could
and
went
to
her
Aunt
to
update
her
on
what
was
going
on.
Although
she
didn’t
know
specifics,
Juke
told
Raq
that
Kanan
was
working
with
Pops,
Snaps
and
Ronnie.
She
also
disclosed
that
Famous
moved
out
the
spot
too.
Juke
noticed
the
change
in
Kanan
and
it
was
visible
how
sick
it
made
Raq
as
she
was
hearing
Juke
tell
her.
Kanan
was
definitely
changing
alright.
In
this
instance,
changing
girls.
It
didn’t
take
him
long
to
get
over
Iesha
as
Kanan
made
his
way
to
Krystal’s
crib
and
assumingly
spent
the
night
with
her.
The
episode
ended
with
Lou
having
to
fix
what
he
messed
up.
Marvin
chaperoned
his
brother
back
to
Shantel’s
house
and
waited
in
the
car.
Lou,
who
was
still
drinking
before
he
got
out
the
car,
walked
to
the
house
and
rang
the
doorbell.
When
Shantel
let
him
in,
it
seems
like
she
already
knew
her
fate
because
she
didn’t
even
say
any
words.
Instead,
Lou
expressed
how
he
didn’t
want
this
and
how
he
was
sorry.
He
then
shot
her
twice.
Lou
got
back
in
the
car
and
they
drove
off.
As
they
drove
past
the
house,
Lou
looked
into
the
window
and
again
had
a
hallucination
of
Scrappy.
How
long
will
Lou’s
demons
continue
to
haunt
him?
What
will
they
cause
him
to
do?
How
will
Raq
respond
to
the
news
of
Kanan
working
with
Ronnie,
Snaps
and
Pop?
Will
working
with
Chinese
restaurants
work
out
for
her
and
Marvin?
Will
Marvin
end
up
getting
implicated
in
a
serious
case
because
of
Howard?
How
long
will
Howard
be
able
to
keep
his
double
life
up?
Has
Kanan
ruined
Juke’s
group
with
his
shenanigans?
What’s
next
with
Ronnie?
There
are
so
many
questions
we
still
have
left
with
only
three
episodes
left
in
the
season.
Let
us
know
what
you
thought
about
this
episode
and
what
you
think
will
happen
on
the
next
one
in
the
comments!
