We know Boosie has been in your thoughts and prayers for the past few days, as it was reported that he was shot in the leg on his birthday this past Saturday. Despite conflicting reports regarding his condition, we hear that he successfully underwent surgery and is home recovering.
According to TMZ, Boosie underwent two surgeries due to the gunshot wound he sustained over the weekend. Some reports have been claiming that it was a possibility that he would need to get his leg amputated, but sources close to the situation tell TMZ that thankfully, amputation was not the outcome.
Sources say Boosie had one procedure to remove bullet fragments, and another to put screws into his foot to ensure that it heals properly. Boosie reportedly left the hospital on Tuesday, and is currently at home resting. TMZ reports that he will be off his feet for about 6 weeks.
Boosie has been very open about having diabetes, and a condition of that nature is what sparked speculation that he would need to get his leg amputated. However, TMZ reports that doctors only mentioned his diabetes to ensure he was eating properly before his surgeries to make sure that he would be okay while under anesthesia.
As we previously reported, Boosie was in Dallas remembering his friend Mo3, who was shot killed there last week. Boosie found himself at the scene of yet another shooting, and he was reportedly shot in the knee.
Please keep Boosie in your thoughts and prayers at this time, Roomies, as we wish him a speedy and healthy recovery!
