A new week means fresh TV shows and movies to add to your watchlist. From crime thrillers to dark comedies, this week’s ‘What To Watch’ list offers a little something for everyone. Whether you’re in the mood for an action-packed heist, a twisted Hollywood tale, or a family drama with a criminal twist, check out the must-watch titles of the week inside.
Hulu’s latest crime dramedy, “Deli Boys” follows two Pakistani American brothers who inherit their father’s New Jersey sandwich shop only to discover that it was a front for his massive criminal empire. Suddenly, they’re thrust into a dangerous underworld they never wanted to be a part of. Think The Sopranos, but with a fresh, cultural twist and a dose of humor. Created by Abdullah Saeed, this series is packed with drama, suspense, and sharp wit.
If you love crime thrillers with a high-stakes edge, Apple TV’s “Dope Thief” is one to watch. Based on Dennis Tafoya’s novel, this Apple TV+ original follows Emile Hirsch as a professional scam artist running a fake DEA operation with his partner. But when their con goes south, he finds himself caught in a deadly game that could cost him everything.
André Holland stars in The Actor, a gripping crime mystery set in the 1950s. When New York actor Paul Cole (Holland) is brutally beaten and left for dead in a small Ohio town, he wakes up with no memory of who he is or how he got there. Stranded in unfamiliar territory, Paul must navigate a world filled with mystery and deception as he struggles to piece together his identity.
