These Rappers Have The Most Annoying Voices

Over the years there has been a new wave of rappers with a new wave of voices. Some good and some bad, but since the “Mumble Rap” era became a thing we have definitely seen the effects of that style trickle into today’s rap scene. And although most of these rappers are loved by many, you can’t deny that they have some pretty damn annoying voices. Aside from the final artist in this list, this isn’t a ranking. There definitely is one rapper with a voice more annoying than the rest by a landslide. But before we get there, let’s just name a few who stand out.

Lil Durk

While a very popular artist right now, Lil Durk was the artist that inspired me to write this blog post. His most recent mainstream hit “All My Life”, while a very wholesome song was what turned me off from Durk. He seems to be struggling with an identity crisis. Does he want to rap or does he want to sing? I’m not sure but I’d prefer that he pick one and stick with it because the in between sounds like a piece of shit. And don’t get me started on the autotune. Not everyone can be T-Pain.

Nicki Minaj

The Barbs are going to hate me for this one but I’m sorry, your queen has a voice that’s simply annoying as fuck when she gets into her little fast paced character. Sometimes I can’t even understand what she’s saying. And while very creative, her delivery can often times come off as bratty or “sassy”.

Meek Mill

HOLD UP WAIT A MINUTE!?!?!?

YA’LL THOUGHT I WAS FINISHED?!?!?!

No, but we hoped that you were because your shit is very painful to listen to.

With Meek Mill, the annoyances don’t come so much from his voice itself but more from his delivery. Often times characterized by unnecessary yelling and raised pitch. Having aggressive bars is one thing, but this mf really doesn’t understand how to control the volume of his voice.

Lil Yachty

Now this is a tough one, because I actually like Lil Boat. But man he can sound really boring sometimes. Another one of those artists that should decide if they want to rap or sing, Lil Yachty needs to pick one and put some more effort into it. His flows are often so smooth and monotone that they nearly put me to sleep. But it’s hard to really put him on this list because from what I’ve noticed, he has great chorus and hooks but his verses is what he slacks at. And his verses are what sound like he himself is bored with.

Lil Baby

This artist needs no introduction. The king of annoying voices himself, Lil Baby. Although he might be the most listened to artist on this list, his voice PISSES ME OFF. It’s damn near unbearable to listen to no matter how good the lyrics are. It’s so bad that it almost hurts to listen to. The weird high pitch is just so terrible. And for some reason every time I listen to him rap, I just imagine this annoying ass voice coming out from between the gap in his teeth and is pisses me off even more.
