This
is
proof
that
the
game
of
Hip-Hop
truly
has
no
rules.
Los
Angeles
rapper
The
Game
has
teamed
up
with Hit-Boy
and his
father
Big
Hit to
drop
a
surprise
project
called
Paisley
Dreams.
Released
on
the
first
day
of
2024
to
kick
off
the
year
on
a
high
note,
the
9-track
project
came
as
a
result
of
an
epic
studio
session
between
the
three
Los
Angeles
natives.
The
Game
posted
the
album’s
cover
art
to
his
13.9
million
followers
on
Instagram,
with
the
caption:
“I
pulled
on @hitboy & @bighit 3
days
ago
to
do
1
song…
stayed
a
few
hours
&
ended
up
doing
a
9
song
tape
that
night.
I’m
not
here
to
ask
you
to
stream
it
or
download
it.
I’m
just
a
man,
telling
his
fans
a
story
about
last
night
&
the
night
before.”

The
crazy
part
is,
the
project
was
recorded,
mixed
and
mastered,
and
uploaded
to
streaming
platforms
within
less
than
a
week.
This
just
goes
to
show
the
work
ethic
of
all
three
artists,
specifically
Hit-Boy
who
continues
to
prove
his
case
for
why
he
should
take
home
the
award
for
Producer
of
the
Year
at
this
year’s
Grammys.
Hit-Boy
also
shared
more
details
of
the
making
of
the
project:
“The
Game
pulled
up
on
me
and
Big
Hit
4
days
ago
and
i
was
thinking
maybe
we
ask
him
to
get
on
the
“Bang
Freestyle”
remix
or
something
at
MOST
but
instead
he
locked
in
with
us
for
the
rest
of
the
night
and
we
made
a
9
song
album.
Here
it
is
“Paisley
Dreams”
by
The
Game
and
Big
Hit
executive
produced
by
Hit-Boy.”
Paisley
Dreams
boasts
guest
appearances
from
fellow
Los
Angeles
natives Dom
Kennedy and TeeFlii.
