Team USA is in full force on the court but Steph Curry is tired of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” while LeBron James loves it.
LeBron James formed the NBA version of the Avengers for the 2024 Olympics Men’s basketball team. This is likely LeBron’s last run with Team USA which makes it even more special. His chosen soldiers showed up to support and so far they’ve played great and been a treat to watch.
Unfortunately for Steph Curry, he is playing the Robin role to Bron’s Batman and isn’t allowed to control the musical vibes.
According to Bleacher Report, after winning against Serbia Kendrick Lamar’s #1 record “Not Like Us” blasted in the stadium. This prompted Steph Curry to question his teammates’ obsession with the diss record.
“It’s not the only song in America.” Steph reports to his teammates. “I Love it.” LeBron James responds shutting down the Golden State star.

Kendrick Lamar dragged Steph and LeBron into his public feud with Drake on the scathing track “Meet The Grahams“. The Compton rapper warned both stars to “keep the family” away from Drake who he repeatedly alleges “likes them young” on “Not Like Us“.
Furthermore, “Not Like Us” is the biggest track of 2024 by a landslide. Other artists are currently failing to match the impact so likely it’s going to be a long work trip for Steph. Hopefully, his light-skinned allegiance to Drake can withstand the back-to-back spins of the record all Summer.
