This week’s ‘What to Watch’ film list is packed with thrilling, suspenseful selections, including Hulu’s Hold Your Breath, She Taught Love, and Speak No Evil. Read more and check out the trailers to our full list inside.
Kicking things off, She Taught Love introduces us to Frank Cooper, an actor who is struggling to find his footing since getting off The Street, a prestigious cable television series. Coasting through life by distracting himself with women, booze and blow, while auditioning to play stereotypical gang members and drug dealers, Coopers whole world changes the minute he meets Mali Waters (Thomas), a sports agent living for the present. Despite their own worst instincts, Mali and Frank are inescapably drawn to one another. As Mali is forced to face her own mortality, the clock begins to tick. The two must learn to rely on each other, choosing to love and live for the moment, even if that’s all they get.

Next on our list, Hulu’s Hold Your Breath takes us to 1930s Oklahoma amid the region’s horrific dust storms, where we meet a woman (Sarah Paulson) convinced that a sinister presence is threatening her family. Ebon Moss-Bachrach also has a memorable role in this terrifying tale that leaves you mistrustful of sleep, the elements and everyone in close proximity.
If you’re looking for a more modern thriller, look no further than Speak No Evil, which follows a family invited to spend a weekend in an idyllic country house, only to have their dream vacation turn into a psychological nightmare.
These three films deliver everything from romance, to drama to suspense making for a dynamic viewing weekend. We also have more films across genres, which are out now in theaters and on streaming platforms.
