Calling all Barbz, calling all Barbz, this is NOT a drill! Nicki Minaj has definitely made her mark on the rap game and it seems like just yesterday she gave us some of her biggest hits. Well, it has been 10 years since Nicki put out the gem that is “Pink Friday” and the celebration is on!
It definitely doesn’t seem like 10 years has gone by since Nicki introduced us her some of her altar egos, including Roman Polanski and her fairy god mother, and Nicki took to the ‘gram to thank all of her fans for supporting ‘Pink Friday’.
“Happy 10 year Anniversary ‘Pink Friday’. Thank you guys for the support you showed this album. So grateful. Love you,” she wrote.

Nicki Minaj took the rap game by force as she assembled the Barbz with her colorful hair and unforgettable presence she brought to each of her songs and visuals. Some of her biggest hits on the album landed her the no. 1 spot on the Billboard charts the year it was released.

Most notably, the album is known for introducing the world to Roman Polanski, Nicki’s alter ego from London. She had Eminem jump on “Roman’s Revenge”, which is the track that showed just how versatile Nicki could get.
She followed that song with some softer bops that definitely has us in our bag back then.
“Right Thru Me”, “Fly”, “Save Me”, and especially “Moment 4 Life” showed us a softer side of Nicki that the Barbs eat up to this day. She followed those up with “Your Love”, and gave us an adorable Japanese inspired video to go along with it.
What is your fav track from the album, y’all! Let us know in the comments!
