Over the weekend, the California Milk Processor Board (CMPB), creators of the iconic “Got Milk?” campaign, hosted the official after-party for comedian Desi Banks’ first headlining show in Los Angeles which took place at The Novo on October 14th. This exclusive event brought together a star-studded guest list. It also marked the launch of an exciting new online branded content series with Desi Banks, an actor, stand-up comedian, former collegiate athlete and popular social media personality with over 8.5 million loyal Instagram followers.

Celebrities and notable attendees included Desi Banks, Waka Flocka Flame, Polo G, and from Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle, Hunter Matthews, Dre Woodward, and Isaac Francis. Guests were treated to an exclusive premiere of the series launch video featuring Desi along with other California based influencers.

This effort, aptly named “Get Real Inc.,” marks a significant departure from the digital and virtual world’s ever-increasing influence and is a new California startup striving to bring people closer to what is real in an age dominated by technology and artificiality. In addition to promoting realness, the CMPB is committed to supporting the future generations of leaders and innovators by donating $100,000 to select Boys and Girls Clubs across California.

Comedian and Get Real Inc. CEO Desi Banks said, “In a world filled with filters, likes, and virtual realities, it’s refreshing to remind everyone that being real is where the true magic happens. Laughter and real milk both have a way of bringing people together, and I’m excited to help spread the message that living an authentic life is the key to happiness and fulfillment.”

The first video is scheduled for release on October 19. In just two weeks, the second part will be released across all social channels along with additional content from other notable California influencers that joined the startup. Huge congrats to Desi on the partnership and his first headlining show! Check out some photos from the after-party below!
