On Tuesday, an interview between Tamar Braxton and Tamron Hall aired, and the songstress discussed an incident with her ex-boyfriend David Adefeso that took place in a car. The specific incident in question led to David filing a restraining order against her, claiming she punched him in the throat, as we previously reported.
During the interview, Tamar stated David was never physical with her. But she also stated that he should release the recording of the incident.
In response to her claims, a rep for David stated that he can’t release any footage because Tamar allegedly destroyed the camera.
According to TMZ, David no longer has footage because he alleges Tamar destroyed it, “A rep for David Adefeso — who recently got a TRO against Tamar over this — tells TMZ her recent plea on “The Tamron Hall Show” for him to show his cards as far as evidence is moot … because she knows d**n well she destroyed his camera, ensuring there’s no video evidence.”
It’s also stated that the footage only captured “front and back views from the car.” The activity inside the car wasn’t recorded.
David’s rep also says the alleged attacked ended up costing around $1,600. TMZ also reports that he had to pay more than $7,500 for the total damage.
If you recall, David went live about the incident in September. He stated,
“I’m gonna say one thing about what was told about me grabbing or hitting Tamar or anybody else. It’s a complete and absolute falsehood. I’ve never ever, ever… I never will ever put my hands on a woman,” Adefeso stated.
He continued and stated that he was a victim of domestic violence.
“I’ll speak the truth. Here’s the truth. I’ve been a victim of domestic violence, domestic assault. I was attacked; I was driving on high speed, and I was attacked. A blow to my neck, my jugular.
Since then, Toni Braxton has made a public plea asking for David to leave her family alone. But Tamar insists that David hasn’t done anything wrong, as previously reported.
