Dwight Howard Speaks On Married Life On “The Rematch” Podcast

Dwight Howard and his fiance Te’a Cooper caught everyone’s attention in October after he exposed messages between the two of them on Instagram live. The incident happened during the Los Angeles Lakers celebrating their NBA championship win. Dwight and Te’a have been engaged since last year, and the couple is easily couple goals. During a recent interview with the podcast The Rematch,  he gave listeners a closer look into their relationship.
The host, Etan Thomas, asked Dwight if he had planned on returning to the Lakers. He said, “I would definitely love to come back and play for the Lakers again. Hopefully, this year they give me a contract.” In the conversation, Dwight referred to Te’a as his wife saying, “My wife plays for the Sparks, so it would be great for both of us to still be in the same city and play.”
When Etan asked how married life is, Dwight said that Te’a had changed him for the better. “You know what? I love it. I absolutely love it. It’s new for me. I never had a situation like that, but I’m very happy,” he said. “It’s really just brought more peace, more happiness. Also, it just changed my life. When you have a really great woman behind you, on your side, it just seems to make everything better. So I’m very grateful for her and how she’s just been like my rock and my foundation.”
Dwight continued saying how he and Te’a we’re like twins. He said, “She pushes me to be a greater person. I just push her to reach new heights. She’s doing such an amazing job. Just trying to be there for her in every way that I can.” It’s unclear if they are officially married, but congrats to them.
