Roomies, it looks like seven months after reportedly holding NFL player Earl Thomas at gunpoint, Earl’s wife Nina Thomas has decided to end their marriage.
According to TMZ, Nina filed for divorce on Nov. 3rd. “According to court records, Nina Thomas put in the paperwork on Nov. 3 … citing adultery as the grounds for ending the marriage.” She also added that their relationship is strained and there’s no “reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”
This may be a little surprising to some because earlier this year it seemed as though the two were on the road to reconciliation. Nina and Earl Thomas celebrated his birthday together, and he received a diamond pendant from his wife. Just last month, the two celebrated Nina’s birthday, and Earl posted a nice “I love you” message on Instagram.
Nina is also asking the court to give Earl limited access to their three children until “he takes a parenting course and can show evidence that he is able to care for the children for an extended period of time.”
As we previously reported, Nina allegedly held Earl at gunpoint, after she found him with another woman. TMZ also alleges that upon the cops’ arrival, “we observed that a black female wearing an orange sweater with a knife in her hand, later identified as Nina Thomas, was chasing a shirtless black male, later identified as Earl Thomas, with a pistol in his hand around a vehicle.” Cops drew their weapons and ordered both to the ground, and they complied without incident.
The two have been married since 2016.
