It’s that time of year again. No, not Halloween. Well…yeah, Halloween but it’s more so that time of year when white folks get their jollies by dressing in blackface and showing the world how racist they can really be using Halloween as some sort of bigotry buffer.
The latest example of such racism is the viral photo of a white boy dressed as Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs and his egregious accomplice date, a white girl dressed as a bottle of baby oil. Considering that Combs is sitting in prison for allegedly committing all sorts of despicable sex crimes, the costumes are truly in poor taste on two counts.

The woman, who first outed this racist costume was said to be associated with San Diego State University, had her TikTok account suspended and the original video taken down according to USA Today. It was initially believed that perhaps the blackface couple were also SDSU students, but the school has issued a public statement refuting the rumor.
“In situations such as these, we must affirm that misinformation is harmful and threats of violence are reprehensible and have no place within our society,” the statement reads. “Also, as we shared before: The individuals photographed are not confirmed SDSU students, and our team is working to collect additional information, to include the location and the names and affiliations of any of individuals involved.”
These two aren’t the only ones guilty of this blatantly bigoted practice. If you see someone in blackface on social media, tag @BOSSIP on Twitter or @BOSSIPOFFICIAL on Instagram and we’ll do the rest…
