Pete
Carroll
is
out
as
head
coach
of
the
Seattle
Seahawks.
According
to
ESPN’s
Adam
Schefter,
Carroll
is
expected
to
remain
in
the
organization
in
a
different
role.
The
Seahawks
now
join
the
Commanders,
Chargers,
Raiders,
Panthers,
Falcons,
and
Titans
as
teams
with
head
coaching
vacancies.
A
shocker
in
Seattle:
Pete
Carroll
is
expected
to
be
out
as
the
Seahawks
head
coach,
per
sources.
He
still
could
remain
in
the
organization,
but
not
as
the
head
coach.

“After
thoughtful
meetings
and
careful
consideration
for
the
best
interest
of
the
franchise,
we
have
amicably
agreed
with
Pete
Carroll
that
his
role
will
evolve
from
Head
Coach
to
remain
with
the
organization
as
an
advisor,”
a
statement
from
Seahawks’
owner
Jody
