Recently, conversation about the greatest point guard of all time has risen. The candidates are between Magic Johnson and Stephen Curry. Lately, Steph Curry claimed the throne, acknowledging Magic as his only competition. But not so fast, says Michael Jordan.
According to Stephen A. Smith, Jordan sent him a text message stating the title still belongs to Magic Johnson.
“Although greatest of anything is always a debate, I beg to differ on greatest point guard of all-time… Magic Johnson is easily the best point guard of all time. Steph Curry is very close, but not in front of Magic,” Jordan’s text read, according to Smith.

In addition to “very close,” Jordan complimented Curry, calling him “by far the best shooter of all time.”
