Roommates, no matter how long he’s officially been out of office, Barack Obama will always be our forever president that we miss more than ever. However, a fan recently got the surprise of a lifetime when Barack Obama unexpectedly dropped in virtually during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
While promoting his new memoir, our forever president Barack Obama surprised Joyce Taylor, a retired auditor from Temple Hills, Maryland, who certainly didn’t expect that she would actually be speaking with Obama.
He started off reading excerpts from his book, but soon transitioned to reading facts about Taylor, who couldn’t believe that the former president was talking to her through the screen.
“Hey, Joyce how are you?!,” Obama asked. “I’m fine,” she said as Barack Obama told her it was nice to see her. Taylor was overwhelmed with emotion as Obama told her that she will receive an autographed copy of his new book.
Obama’s appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” follows the recent news he confirmed stating that he will not be joining president-elect Joe Biden in the White House despite Biden being his former vice president and their well documented friendship.
When asked by Gayle King if he planned to occupy a regular position in the Joe Biden White House, Obama jokingly responded, ”There are probably some things I would not be doing because Michelle would leave me. She’d be like, ‘What? You’re doing what?’”
